Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has declared that Nigeria are ready to take on Greece in their second World Cup match.
Following their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Argentina in game one, the Africans are in a position where they have to win against Greece and Yakubu is well aware of the situation.
Yakubu said : “There are no two ways about it. It is either we bust them or get busted. It was painful conceding victory to Argentina. We have put the defeat behind us now. We are focused and looking forward to the game against Greece. We have resolved to win the match,”.
“People were writing us off even before the tournament started, but I think we made some people eat their words. We gave as good as we got against one of the best teams in the world, and we have what it takes to reach the next round.”
