In a totally surprising move by Real Madrid, 3 time UCL winner and their former manager just 10 months ago, Zinedine Zidane is set to re-join the club as their new manager, replacing the ineffective Santiago Solari.
The Frenchman resigned at the Bernabeu at the end of last season following a third successive Champions League title.
But the club has since struggled, with Julen Lopetegui fired after a disastrous start to the season and Santiago Solari unable to navigate Los Blancos past the last 16 in Europe, with Ajax handing them a humiliating exit.
The move comes as rumours are that Florentino Perez will abide by Zidane’s request to rebuild the side.
The rumour mills will now go in full swing with the likes of Neymar, Hazard and Pogba all names as potential targets.
