Reports are out claiming that Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc insists they’re not planning to lose Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January.
The Gabon international striker has stated “who knows their future” amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
But Zorc said: “To put it bluntly: We are planning to continue firmly with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this season.
“With him, several aspects come together: He feels in the city and at the club tremendously well, has a lot of confidence, is recognized by the other players and has a good connection to the coach.
“He feels our confidence. And of course he has further developed his game.
“As Auba in 2013 came to us, he first of all had to look for his position in the playing system. He is perhaps outside a shrill bird, likes driving fast cars and wears crazy shoes. Even that suits us quite well in our sometimes gray Dortmund.”
