It has been reported that Ryan Giggs’ future at Manchester United is in doubt.
Giggs could follow Louis van Gaal out of United if the Dutchman is sacked.
The Daily Star reported that it is understood vice-chairman Ed Woodward is agonising over what to do about current No.2 Giggs.
Giggs has spent the last 18 months being groomed to succeed Van Gaal and is regarded as a legend in the eyes of supporters following his glittering playing career.
But the Welshman is now in danger of being tarnished by Van Gaal’s failed regime and could be allowed to leave as well if Mourinho is drafted in and wants to appoint his own backroom team.
