Reports are out claiming that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere will not return from injury before February.
The England international star has not made a single appearance for Arsenal so far this season due to a fractured fibula but it was expected that the midfielder would be making a return to full fitness by the turn of the year.
However, Wenger has revealed that Wilshere’s recovery process is taking longer than expected and that the England international is only set to make a return back to full health in February before he tries to prove his fitness for a first team comeback.
Wenger said: “He (Wilshere) will not be back before February, that’s for sure.
“I said February but honestly I don’t know. I let him do his recovery. It’s going slowly.
“Once he goes again, goes outside to train, once he is back again into sharp, hard work physically, you count five or six weeks, so at the moment he is not there yet.”
