Calum Chambers insists Arsenal made a point to remain serene following their disappointing defeat at Southampton on Saturday.
The Gunners were shocked 4-0 by the Saints at St Mary’s but responded with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Monday night.
Chambers, who played a key role in midfield at the Emirates, suggests Arsenal’s reaction shows there is an enormous amount of assuredness throughout the squad as they continue their chase of an elusive Premier League title.
“We have bounced back. We didn’t get too down after the result at Southampton,” said Chambers.
“We know we have a good side here and we just want to keep our confidence high and go into each game with belief and show how good we are.”
The Gunners moved above Leicester City and back into top spot which was another massive bonus highlighted by young gun Chambers.
“It is great. I thought it was a great team performance and to be back top of the table is brilliant and we just have to keep that going,” he added.
