Reports are out claiming that Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink isn’t ready to write off Cesc Fabregas just yet.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star missed Monday’s trip to Manchester United through illness – just 48 hours after he was substituted at half-time in Chelsea’s draw with Watford.
But the Mirror says Fabregas, 28, is still central to Hiddink’s plans.
The interim manager hooked him against Watford as he was concerned the midfield was too open and now plans to tighten up his system until results improve.
Hiddink wants Fabregas to overcome his problems, but he has attracted serious interest from Juventus and Inter Milan.
