Reports are out claiming that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is full of praise for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
Henry says his goal glut is justification for taking the brave decision to leave Chelsea in 2014.
He told The Sun: “It would have been easy for him to stay on the bench at Chelsea, pick up a big pay packet and collect an occasional medal for being on the fringes of the squad.
“But the only way any young player is going to learn and improve is through regular football.
“No amount of hard work on the training ground can ever replicate the challenge of testing yourself against the best defenders in the country in a competitive match.
“And because Lukaku wanted to become the best player he possibly could be, he took his destiny in his own hands and pushed for a transfer to a club where he would get his chance to shine.
“You have to give him a lot of credit for that and his attitude confirms my belief that he is heading right to the top.”
