Reports are out claiming that Premier League clubs are on red alert after Breel Embolo pulled out of a move to VfL Wolfsburg.
The FC Basel striker was expected to sign for Wolfsburg this month, but he is reluctant to move to the VW, despite this season’s Champions League success.
The Sun says long-term suitors Everton remain keen and are in contact with Basel for the 18 year-old striker.
It’s been suggested Everton see Embolo a long-term successor for Romelu Lukaku.
Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been tracking Embolo this season.
