Reports have emerged claiming that Manchester City are the latest club to be linked with Athletic Bilbao star Inaki Williams.
The 21-year-old winger has already attracted the attention of Premier League quintet Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton and Leicester City while Spanish duo Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also keen.
According to the Daily Mail, City are now showing considerable interest after sending scout Rob Newman to watch Williams score the only goal in Bilbao’s Copa del Rey win over Villarreal last week.
They also cast an eye over the Bilbao academy product against Barcelona on the weekend and are believed to be ready to make a move for the services of the talented attacker who has 10 goals in 23 in all competitions this season with six of those coming in La Liga.
Williams, a Spain U21 international, comes with a release clause of £15.3million.
