According to reports from the London Evening Standard, Liverpool are considering a shock swoop for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green.
Due to the inconsistent displays shown by Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan, Liverpool are believed to be in the market to sign a new goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
A couple of high profile names such as Steven Mandanda, Salvatore Sirigu and Jack Butland have been touted with a move to Anfield over the past few weeks but now in a completely surprise link, it is believed that the Reds are considering a move for QPR’s experienced 35-year-old shot-stopper Green.
The link comes on the same day Mignolet penned a long-term deal to remain with Liverpool until 2021.
