Reports have emerged claiming that Schalke coach Andre Breitenreiter isn’t panicking over transfer talk for Leroy Sane.
Sane has been linked with a €55 million move to Manchester City, while Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been mentioned as potential destinations.
“The public statements of our supervisory board chairman Clemens Tonnies, from manager Horst Heldt and Leroy’s management are clear and unambiguous. That’s why I do not concern myself with it,” said Breitenreiter to BILD.
“For his personal development it would probably be too early. He needs to continue to mature, learn and especially play, to be ready to compete with the best in the world.”
However, the coach added: “On the other hand, it is for a lot of guys, a childhood dream to one day play for a big club like Real Madrid or FC Barcelona.”
The talented youngster is also said to have attracted the interest of Arsenal.
