Reports are out claiming that Chelsea are seriously considering Stoke City boss Mark Hughes.
According to The Guardian, Blues chiefs are believed to be impressed by the credentials of the Welsh manager who has completely changed the way the Potters play football since arriving at the Britannia Stadium in 2013.
There are a number of managers being mentioned in Stamford Bridge circles in recent times with the likes of Diego Simeone, Antonio Conte, Jorge Sampaoli, Massimiliano Allegri and even Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino believed to be on the agenda.
Hughes has previously been linked loosely with the reigning Premier League champions but it is understood that he has now emerged as a serious candidate.
The former Manchester United star was believed to be a target for Chelsea back in 2007 but the West London club now see him as a much more mature and experienced coach thanks to his time spent at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR and of course Stoke.
