It has been reported that the agent of Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has jumped to the defence of the Belgian.
Januzaj has struggled to make an impact on-loan at Borussia Dortmund and was slammed by Belgium U21 coach Enzo Scifo this week.
But Dirk Devriese insists: “There is no question of a bad state of mind. This decision is part of the project. Adnan focuses on his work and we plan the rest. Do not point the finger.
“The team (BVB) is doing well and is a real machine. Currently Dortmund is one of the best teams in Europe. Remember that Adnan did not do preseason with them.
“Dortmund are giving him time to adapt and we must do the same. When (Ilkay) Gundogan and (Robert) Lewandowski joined, they were there throughout the preseason period and still took six months to find their rhythm.”
