It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased with Calum Chambers’ performance in victory over Crystal Palace.
The 19 year old was fielded at centre-half.
“I must say, honestly, we bought him as a right back, but in my opinion he could play centre back. I tried it in pre-season and from game to game he becomes stronger,” said Wenger.
“Today he had a remarkable performance.”
