It has been reported that Schalke defender Benedikt Howedes has again spoken of moving abroad.
The Germany international has been linked with Arsenal in recent days.
“I have always said that I can eventually imagine a transfer abroad,” said the defender.
“I want to gain a new experience, a new culture and a new language. When it will happen, I cannot say. But I want to take this step in my life.”
He added: “It is no secret that there appears to be some clubs that are interested.
“But I feel very comfortable at Schalke – and have been for 13 years.”
