Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal are looking to offer Jack Wilshere a whopping pay rise.
The England international has been attracting interest from Manchester City and it has recently been reported that the Citizens are planning to table a huge bid in the region of around £40million for the midfielder.
However, Arsenal are not keen on parting with the 23-year old anytime soon and in order to ward off City from luring the England international, the Daily Star claims that the Gunners are planning to offer a new £100,000-per week contract.
The potential deal would double Wilshere’s current terms at the club which is believed to be in the region of around £50,000-per-week.
