Reports are out claiming that Arsenal are preparing a bid for Zenit St Petersburg defender Ezequiel Garay.
The Daily Express says Arsenal are gearing up to make a £13m offer for Garay.
Arsene Wenger is looking to bolster his defensive ranks ahead of a grueling Premier League campaign and has identified the Argentine as the ideal candidate.
Garay, joined Zenit Saint Petersburg for £12m last summer, but has already grown weary of life in Russia.
Manchester United have previously shown interest in the imposing centre-back, but have yet to make a firm offer.
