According to reports by www.sportspromedia.com, Arsenal have signed a three-year extension to their sponsorship deal with French car manufacturer Citroën.
It is said that Citroën will retain significant branding and marketing rights as part of the deal, as well as supply Arsenal coaches and staff with a range of vehicles.
Arsenal staff will be able to choose from Citroën’s DS line, the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso MPV, and the soon-to-be-launched C1 and C4 Cactus models.
Citroën first became the club’s automotive partner in 2008.
Financial details have not been released, but the deal is likely to be worth a low- to mid-seven figure sum annually.
Citroën sit with Carlsberg, Gatorade, Huawei, Indesit and Jean Richard Watches in Arsenal’s sponsorship portfolio, a tier below the club’s two major partners Emirates and Nike.
