Reports are out claiming that Manchester United face competition from Arsenal for Benfica whiz Renato Sanches.
O Jogo reported that the Red Devils were in advanced talks over a deal for Sanches.
But they also report Arsenal watched Sanches in action last night against Moreirense.
They claim former Arsenal winger Luis Boa Morte was in the stands on behalf of the Gunners with Sanches the target of his attention.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will launch a late bid for the teenager today or wait until the summer in the hope any potential move to United falls through.
United were reported to be ready to pay £22.7m up front for the Potugal Under-19 international with bonuses taking the total fee to £30.4m.
