Reports are out claiming that Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has paid his tributes to outgoing club physiotherapist Declan Lynch.
The England international rushed to the Arsenal bench to celebrate one of his hat-trick of goals against West Bromwich Albion with the physio, who helped him back to full fitness following a knee injury last season.
Lynch is set to join Bath Rugby when he leaves the Emirates Stadium and Walcott insists he will be sorely missed.
“Declan’s going to be truly missed,” Walcott said to Sky Sports.
“He’s moving on but he’s a man I’ve got to know very closely through the rehab on my knee. He’s a great personality, a great man and a great physio. He’ll be truly missed and will never be forgotten.”
