Reports are out claiming that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to oversee a massive clearout this summer.
The Sun says Arsenal could release up to NINE players this summer.
Wenger looks ready for a complete overhaul of his squad at the end of a season that promised so much, but has ended in relative failure.
Reports suggest Wenger will have up to £80million to spend in the next transfer window with Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka, 23, tipped to be his first signing. Leicester full back Ben Chilwell is another target and Wenger will also look for a top quality striker and central defender.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs, Per Mertesacker, Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky, club captain Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny could all leave this summer.
