Reports are out claiming that Manchester United have been hit by a road block in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.
The Sunday Mirror revealed that United have tabled a £21.5million offer for the German international defender in the belief that it meets Dortmund’s valuation of the 26-year-old.
But Dortmund have told United that they will have to wait until the end of the season for an answer.
The Bundesliga club, having agreed to release Jurgen Klopp from his contract once the current campaign is over, do not want to decide on any form of transfer business until new boss Thomas Tuchel is in place.
Hummels has two more years left on his contract and there is no buy-out clause in his contract.
