Chelsea midfield ace Eden Hazard has revealed that criticism of his World Cup campaign was justified.
Hazard flopped for Belgium in Brazil.
“From a personal point of view I must admit that the criticism of my performance was correct,” said the attacker in conversation with Sudpresse.
“I tried to give the maximum, but it’s not quite turned out as I had hoped.
“At the European Championships in 2016 in France, I hope to excel.”
Hazard added: “As a team we still can do better, but being a losing finalist and among the last eight countries of the World Cup, is not so bad.”
