Reports have emerged claiming that Petr Cech is close to making a move from Chelsea to Arsenal according to reports.
The Daily Mirror suggests that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is nearing the completion of a £10million transfer for 33-year old Cech who is almost certain to leave the Premier League champions this summer.
Cech has fallen behind Thibaut Courtois in the Stamford Bridge pecking order and has been given permission to leave by manager Jose Mourinho.
However, the Portuguese tactician and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich are hoping Cech does not choose a league rival which appears to be the case in the form of the Gunners.
Cech’s impending arrival looks set to cut short David Ospina’s time at the Emirates Stadium with the Colombian a target for Turkish club Fenerbahce.
