Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that he will not change his on-field persona for anyone.
The Portuguese international has been criticised in Spain for his demeanour during games.
“I’ll never accommodate my way of living. I have my personality, my character and I do not need anyone to tell me what I have to change,” snapped the former Manchester United star.
“I know when I do something wrong. I am a very balanced and happy playing for the best club in the world.”
On his relationship with fans, Ronaldo added: “It is a bit difficult. When we play away, people waiting for the team welcome me and I feel great affection, but inside the stadium it is totally different.”
