Reports are out claiming that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that striker Danny Welbeck will be back very soon.
The 25-year old England international missed the trip to Hull City on Monday night due to a knee injury and at the very latest, will be back for the trip to former club Manchester United on May 17.
The Gunners boss said: “There’s an inflammation in his knee – it doesn’t look very bad but he isn’t available for selection.
When asked whether he’ll be back before the end of the season, Wenger replied: “Yes, I think so. I think maybe next Monday against Swansea, if not the game after (against United).”
