Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor will be back in England today.
Local newspapers have reported that Adebayor will today arrive in Manchester and be in line to face Manchester United in Wednesday’s Carling Cup semi-final.
It is also reported that Manchester City’s owners have funded the £60,000 mercy mission to help Adebayor return following the trauma of the Angolan gun attack that left three people dead and Togo players injured.
A City insider said revealed that Adebayor will be assessed and that the striker will be offered the best help possible.
It was also revealed that Manchester City have a counsellor ready should Emmanuel decide that is what he wants.
It was also said that every precaution will be taken before Adebayor is considered for the Manchester United game.
