Reports are out claiming that Everton are stepping up their interest in Valencia winger Carles Gil.
It is said that Everton boss Roberto Martinez is eager to find a replacement for Gerard Deulofeu, who won’t be returning for another loan spell from Barcelona next season.
The Spanish U21 international has been a long-term target for Martinez and he is now intensifying his pursuit.
The winger enjoyed a successful loan with Elche last term.
