It has been reported that Fenerbahce are confident landing Manchester United striker Robin van Persie in the coming days.
Fanatik claims that an agreement over personal terms between Fener and Van Persie has been in place for some days. The Istanbul giants had wanted to complete their deal for Nani before bringing in Van Persie.
The Dutch ace has settled on a four-year contract with Fener, with negotiations assisted by his Oranje teammate Dirk Kuyt.
Fener football chief Giuliano Terraneo has also been driving negotiations before handing over the final touches to president Aziz Yildrim.
