AC Milan’s latest signing, Francesco Acerbi, has revealed that he wants to be regarded as a 10-year player.
The 23 year old former Chievo centre-back outlined his ambitions for his new side.
“I always tried to do something more at Chievo, for me and for the team. To make this jump one needs to always show one’s quality and be constant – I’ve arrived at Milan and I’m happy.
“To be here is fascinating. I’m at a great club, I’m a fan of this team and I don’t want to be a flash in the pan – I want to be here for 10 years, not just one season.
“The walls are surrounded with many photos of successes? I’d also like to win – I hope to have a great season and show my worth.
“My characteristics? I like to push forward, to give a hand to the midfielders and attackers. The important thing is to return quickly in defence if the team loses the ball.”
