Reports are out claiming that Hull City manager Steve Bruce has been left stunned by the ability of new signing Chuba Akpom.
Akpom arrived at Hull this summer on a season-long loan deal from Arsenal and the youngster has already had an instant impact, scoring against Huddersfield Town and Accrington Stanley.
The 19-year-old did not find the net during the recent clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers but his performance was brilliant once again prompting Tigers boss Bruce to lavish more praise on the youngster’s abilities.
Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail: “Chuba has a chance, doesn’t he? Wow. He has a lot to do and a lot to learn. But, in terms of raw talent, you don’t have to watch him long to realise the natural ability that he has. Only a few are blessed with that.
“He has to learn and this league will teach him that. Had he scored, that would have been three in three for him. It’s been a wonderful start.
“He turns round and runs at defenders, that is when it is tough for the opposition. He has an outstanding chance because of his ability.”
