Reports are out claiming that Arsenal striker Joel Campbell has no interest in moving away on-loan this season.
Campbell, who has been the subject of intense transfer talks between Arsenal and Palermo, says he only will leave the London giants in a permanent sale.
The Costa Rica international told La Nacion: “I’m still an Arsenal player and work to play with the Gunners. I will do everything to persuade (Arsene) Wenger to give me the chance to play as a starter.
“I know that several clubs are following me, but I will not leave on loan.
“In the past I did so, so to play for the national team. But now, if someone bets on me, they must buy me outright.”
