In has been revealed that Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti remains keen on signing Anzhi striker Samuel Eto’o.
The Cameroon international is set to be sold by Anzhi Makhachkala as they deal with financial difficulties and has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea under Jose Mourinho.
However a return to Inter has also been suggested and Moratti has not ruled out a second move for the former Barcelona ace.
“Eto’o? We’ll see what happens next week,” Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.
Nerazzurri boss Walter Mazzarri indicated he would be open to having Eto’o in his line-up if finances allowed.
“Eto’o arrives? It’s not my place to speak. I’m happy to coach the team I have right now and we’ll see what the market says,” he added.
