Napoli staged a stunning recovery to claw back a two-goal deficit and beat Juventus 3-2 in their Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico.
David Trezeguet gave Ciro Ferrara’s side a 35th-minute lead with an emphatic headed goal before some hapless defending from the visitors gifted Sebastian Giovinco a second after half-time.
Marek Hamsik drilled his shot in the 58th minute high into the roof of the net to reduce the arrears before substitute Jesus Datolo drew the visitors level six minutes later.
Hamsik then finished with aplomb from the edge of the Juventus penalty area in the 81st minute to beat Buffon for a second time and clinch a superb victory for his side.
