It has been reported that Juventus GM Beppe Marotta is confident of signing Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmian.
Tuttosport says Marotta will agree to the departure of Stephan Lichtsteiner in January after falling out with the Swiss last week ahead of deadline day.
The fullback’s replacement will be Darmian, who has dropped down the pecking order at United under Jose Mourinho.
Marotta is already putting in place plans to take the Italian on-loan.
Juve and United enjoy a good relationship and Marotta is confident of smooth negotiations closer to the January market.
