More interesting transfer news are out and it has been reported that French side Lyon has said that they are powerless to stop Manchester United target Karim Benzema from leaving.
It is believed that the French side are desperate to keep hold of their star striker but it is a fact that United have money to burn when Cristiano Ronaldo joins Real Madrid and Alex Ferguson is believed to be ready to swoop.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that cash rich Manchester City and Chelsea could rival United for Benzema.
He also said that Karim Benzema wants to stay another year at Lyon and win trophies with the club.
