Reports are out claiming that Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is in talks with Valencia.
The Daily Star reported that he has opened talks with Valencia about succeeding Gary Neville.
Neville was axed last week after just four months in charge of the club, with Pellegrini their preferred candidate to take over next season.
And the outgoing Manchester City boss has now outlined his conditions for taking the job.
He wants total control over transfers and a commitment to encourage youth development at all levels.
Pellegrini also believes Valencia could need up to five new signings to become competitive, and wants assurances he will get them.
