Man Utd Boss Van Gaal Frustrated By Delays Over New Training Pitches

Louis van Gaal 28

It has been reported that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is unhappy with delays over the installation of new training pitches.

The Daily Star reported that the Dutchman made the installation of four new pitches at United’s Carrington training ground a priority when he succeeded David Moyes in the summer.

Van Gaal demanded Desso pitches, a mixture of real and synthetic grass, which were developed in his home country of Holland.

He believes the surface encourages slicker passing between players.

But to Van Gaal’s frustration, the £2million project has been a slower process than expected.

The new pitches are not expected to be available until early next year.
