It has been reported that Premier League clubs are on red alert over Marek Hamsik’s deteriorating situation at Napoli.
The Slovakia international is edging closer to the exit door at Napoli after both he and his family have found themselves clashing with local fans.
Hamsik was hooked during the weekend’s match against Empoli, which finished 2-2, and was booed by supporters. His wife is also said to have been insulted by fans on the way home from the stadium.
Calciomercato.com says Napoli are now willing to cash in on Hamsik to fund their own January market plans.
A move to the Premier League could be on, where Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have been long-term admirers of the free-scoring midfielder.
