Reports are out claiming that Manchester United had scouts posted to see Renato Sanches in action on Tuesday.
The Daily Mail reported that United sent scouts to Portugal to watch Sanches against Belgium on Tuesday night ahead of a potential £46million transfer from Benfica.
Sanches started on the substitutes’ bench for Portugal at the Estadio Dr Magalhaes Pessoa in Leiria but the talented teenager is highly rated in his homeland.
His contract at the club does not run out until 2021 but United have been tough in negotiations.
United also sent scouts to watch Sanches earlier in March when he played against Sporting Lisbon and Benfica are understood to be willing to sell for £31m up front with £15m in add-ons.
