Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini insists he did not spit on Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero during Sunday’s derby clash.
The Belgian international allegedly spat on Aguero in the first half of United’s 1-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium when the Argentine striker went down in the area.
Fellaini was unimpressed by Aguero’s antics and bent down to produce a few strong words which saw some spit fly from his mouth, prompting speculation from some reporters.
But the former Everton star has use Twitter to reject claims from the media that he intentionally did anything wrong.
