Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos remains unhappy with the progress of new contract talks.
Cadena Ser reported that the Spanish international’s contract extension is not a done deal. It’s not even close.
The central defender is worried the club haven’t been in touch with his agent since the statement of intent after talks with club president Florentino Pérez during the tour of Asia.
Furthermore, there’s one thing Ramos is absolutely clear about. If Real Madrid are offering €8.5 million a season he won’t accept. He wants 10 million a season if he is to extend his contract with the Spanish club.
Manchester United continue to monitor Ramos’ situation.
