It has been reported that Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini could be on the move to China.
The Daily Star Sunday says he has been sounded out by Chinese agents. Fellaini, 28, was hoping for an Old Trafford contract extension before going to the finals of Euro 2016 this summer with Belgium.
But United have so far given Fellaini – a £27million signing from Everton three years ago – no indication he will be offered another deal.
The Chinese delegation in Manchester recently were acting on behalf of their league generally, rather than a specific club. The dream signing for China is said to be Fellaini’s United pal Wayne Rooney, 30.
