It has been reported that Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will pen a four-year deal with Manchester United in the coming days.
The Mail on Sunday claims that Schneiderlin is set to sign a four-year deal in a £25million move to Manchester United after Arsenal pulled out of the race for the Southampton midfielder.
The 25-year-old could be key for Louis van Gaal, with a holding midfielder a priority given United’s problems in that position when Michael Carrick was injured last season.
Negotiations may take time but unless there is a late inquiry from another club, the Frenchman looks set for Old Trafford.
Arsenal are not prepared to match Southampton’s price tag and decided against a move with Francis Coquelin’s rise an important factor.
