Santi Cazorla insists that Arsenal teammate Olivier Giroud has lessened the impact of missing out on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez in the summer.
The Uruguay international ace was the subject of a £40,000,001 bid from the Gunners during the close-season.
Cazorla told the Daily Mail: “I think he’s incredible. I would have loved it if he had come. But Giroud is playing with a lot of confidence. He’s started well, scored a lot of goals and is fundamental for us now.”
