Papiss Cisse has declared that he wants to remain with his club SC Freiburg.
The 25-year old Senegal international striker has recently linked with a move to Premier League clubs Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal, Liverpool and Fulham.
However the 6ft 0in striker has declared insisted that he is happy to stay with Freiburg, for whom he has scored 22 Bundesliga goals this season.
“I’m not aware of any bid from a club. It’s news to me,” he told skysports.com.
“I learned that from the papers.
“As I’ve said before I’m looking forward to playing in another league one day but at the moment Freiburg is the club for me.
“Clubs will always decide what is best for them. I’m enjoying my football here.
“This club has been fantastic for me. They gave me a platform to prove myself so I need to reward them with goals.
“I’m very happy with my season but I can do more. I need to improve. The Premier League is a fantastic league and all players dream about it. I’m no different.
“I’d like to play more in the Bundesliga and show I can score in this league week in week out.”
