It has been revealed that Jose Mourinho has given his full approval for Manchester United’s bid to buy Paul Pogba back from Juventus.
The Mirror claims that Mourinho has earmarked Pogba as his fourth main target, following the arrivals of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
The former Chelsea boss is said to be looking for specialist players in key positions as he looks to rebuild a faltering Red Devils squad ahead of his first season at Old Trafford.
And United are apparently willing to offer the Juventus superstar a bumper £300,000-a-week five-year deal to see off interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea.
The £100m fee would significantly trump the £85m Real Madrid paid Tottenham to make Gareth Bale the most expensive player ever three years ago.
