Burnley v Arsenal - TEAM NEWS

TEAM NEWS

Burnley midfielder Matt Taylor may return after a seven-and-a-half month absence due to an Achilles injury but Dean Marney and defender Kevin Long are both still out with cruciate ligament injuries. The prognosis is more optimistic for winger Ross Wallace and right-back Steven Reid, who had knee and calf injuries respectively, and both could be available for selection.

Arsenal midfielders Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby all played against Stoke City U21s on Tuesday and are available for selection again after long-term injury problems. French right-back Mathieu Debuchy did not play in that game but is also injury free after recovering from a dislocated shoulder. There are slight doubts over goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a bruised rib and defender Laurent Koscielny, who has a slight groin strain, and both face fitness tests before the game. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the only definite absentee as he continues his rehabilitation from a groin injury.
