Reports are out claiming that Manchester United have tabled massive new terms to goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Daily Star reported that the Spanish international has been offered a ‘double your money’ deal to make him one of the highest paid keepers in the world.

United bosses are in talks with De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes and United are willing to pay him a staggering £140,000-a-week.

Chief executive Ed Woodward is prepared to double De Gea’s current wages to keep him out of the clutches of European champions Real Madrid.

But the Spanish international wants assurances United will continue to sign big-name stars before he pens a new deal.

His future has been called into question following the decision to hand an 18-month deal to former Barcelona star Victor Valdes.
